![]() Three additional games are coming to the Genesis service: the superhero comic-book-themed Comix Zone, the mech shooter Target Earth, and the classic, oft memed shoot-'em-up Zero Wing. On the Sega Genesis side, Mega Man: The Wily Wars hosts the first three classic Megaman titles with enhanced graphics and additional features, including an extra boss. First up is Pokemon Puzzle League, a classic battling puzzle game for the Nintendo 64, offering story, single-player, and multiplayer modes. To start, several games launched for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Notable releases on the eShop include the 2D platformer Endling - Extinction is Forever and the colorful sci-fi adventure XEL. Our social media profiles here as well as other pages on related topics here.Over two dozen games launch on the eShop this week alongside new Nintendo Switch Online retro titles, including Pokemon Puzzle League and Megaman: The Wily Wars. We wish to say thanks to the author of this post for this awesome web content Youropa offers plenty of variety to keep you playing throughout its adventure. The big miss here is its painting mechanism, which it describes as an important aspect, but rarely uses functionality. Clever puzzle designs make the game a fun challenge to complete, along with clever new abilities that you unlock as you play. Youropa is a special puzzle game that manages to do enough memorable things to keep you interested and invested. It’s a shame because that level where you spray paint on a container to get the vehicle to pass was extremely clever, and I would have liked to see more of it. Using paint is a fun mechanic, but outside of a few levels you never use this gameplay mechanic. The color is used in a few fun levels that involve spray painting a container to get a vehicle through the rings. Once You’s entire body is white, the game is over and the player must start the current level over. Your life is represented by the amount of paint that covers their bodies. The paint is supposed to be an integral part of Youropa, but it’s never really used. ![]() The only major disappointment I had with Youropa is its paint mechanic. Levels seem small at first, but chances are an entire section of the area is below where you’re standing. To walk on walls, there must be a curve in the floor, wall or ceiling. Another extremely well-done puzzle mechanic in Youropa is the wall-walking mechanism. This, in turn, allows you to access new areas, even in already completed levels. One of those skills is being able to pick things up, throw them, and run. Walking is your only ability at first, but as you progress through the game other abilities unlock to help you navigate through the game. You and your character are given new abilities throughout the game. Usually this requires thinking outside the box and disregarding the laws of physics, but you find a way.Īnother aspect of Youropa that I enjoy is how it chooses to keep things fresh in gameplay. You can enter a level with a door that seems impossible to reach, but there is always a way. #Puzzle games switch how to#In some cases, the doors are already open, but you have to figure out how to reach them. ![]() To get through some of these doors, you’ll need to figure out how to open them. One of the things I liked about Youropa is its puzzles (a good start for a puzzle game). To do this, the Eiffel Tower needs its power supply, and from there, the Eiffel Tower will serve as your hub. ![]() You possess a unique ability to walk on walls and stand on ceilings, and it’s up to you to restore Youropa to its untorn state. The player takes on the role of you (yes, that’s literally your character’s name). The game begins as the titular city of Youropa is torn apart for some unknown reason. ![]()
